Sen. Farley secures $15,000 grant for Fort Plain
New York State Senator Hugh T. Farley recently
secured a $15,000 special grant for the Fort Plain Central School
District. It’s now up to the Board of Education to decide how to
spend the money.
In a letter to Superintendent Douglas. C.
Burton, Sen. Farley said he submitted a request on the district’s
behalf to the Senate Finance Committee for special funding to assist
“I recognize the challenges that school
districts are facing, and I trust that these funds will be helpful
to your district,” Sen. Farley wrote.
Mr. Burton said the district has received
grants secured by the senator in the past and that “every bit of
“Sen. Farley is always looking to help our
district whenever he can and we are thankful for that,” he said.
