Fort Plain launches Facebook Page

As part of its ongoing effort to enhance communications within the community, Fort Plain Central School District has officially joined Facebook.

“We will continue to use the district website and more traditional communications tools,” said Superintendent David Ziskin. “Every day there are great stories happening in our schools. Facebook is just another way to share those stories and connect with the community.”

The district's Facebook page, which is located here, provides another avenue to communicate to teachers, parents, students and community stakeholders about upcoming events, news, achievements and time-sensitive issues.

To receive updates from the district via Facebook, visit the district's official page and click the page's "Like" button. Facebook should not replace face-to-face meetings or be used for communicating urgent messages.

Fort Plain Central School District welcomes community contributions to its Facebook page through the use of comments.

Community-contributed comments on the page are the opinion of the specific author and do not represent the Fort Plain Central School District. Be relevant. Let's keep the conversation related to the topic at hand. Do not post comments that advertise or promote a product or service. Spam and commercial advertisements will be deleted. In addition, do not use the Fort Plain Central School District Facebook page in place of standard communication practices, such as contacting your school principal to share personal issues and concerns.

Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate, libelous or false information will be removed.
