The NED Show visits Harry Hoag
On Sept. 30,
The NED Show, with its message of academic achievement and character
development, came to the Harry Hoag gym. The show focuses on
teaching three critical skills that will benefit kids for a
lifetime: Never Give Up; Encourage Others; and Do Your Best.

Golf Tourney to benefit baseball team; team
thanks Walmart for help
Varsity
Baseball team representatives recently presented a plaque to Walmart
officials in recognition of the company's help with the team's
fund-raising efforts.

annual Hilltopper Golf Tournament will be held at Canajoharie

Positive Behavioral
Interven tions
and Support (PBIS) encourages good behavior through
positive reinforcement and consistency. The first few weeks of
school are dedicated to teaching students rules and expectations or
“Topper Traits:” be safe, be responsible, be respectful, and be
prepared.

Capital project vote recap

timeline
District
residents turned out in miserable weather Feb. 12, 2008 to approve the
$17.3 million capital project by a vote of 185 to 124. The project
calls for construction a new bus garage; a number of educational,
safety, structural, and energy improvements at Harry Hoag Elementary
School; reconfiguring the traffic loop and parking at Harry Hoag;
construction a three-room addition at the junior /senior high
school; and replacement of the West Street steps.
