January 2024 Jr./Sr. High School Regents, finals, midterm exam schedule
The Jr./Sr. High School will administer Regents exams, first semester final exams and midterms Tuesday, Jan. 23 – Friday, Jan. 26, 2024.
Regular classes will not be held at the Jr./Sr. High School on those days.
Students in Grades 7 and 8 will receive specific instructions regarding instruction on these days.
Harry Hoag Elementary School will continue with a regular school day schedule on these days.
Grade 9 -12 exam schedule and related details
Transportation
Students who use school transportation may ride to and from school as they typically would on any given exam day.
Students who arrive prior to the administration of their exam, need a place to study or a space to wait until dismissal may use the Library Media Center, which will be staffed throughout this week. Students with morning exams who do not wish to wait until 2:38 p.m for regular dismissal may arrange for early pick up via personal transportation.
Use of electronics
All students will be expected to turn in personal electronic devices (phones, apple watches, earbuds, etc.) to a designated staff member who will store them securely during the examination time period. Students are encouraged to leave any non essential devices at home on exam days.
School meals
Breakfast and lunch will be available on each exam day.

Monday, Jan. 22:
Regular schedule, all classes in session on this day.
Tuesday, Jan. 23:
8 a.m.—English Regents and English 9R (Gym), English 9H (Rm. 202); Spanish III (Rm. 104)
12 p.m./noon—Living Environment Regents, Living Environment and Global 9 (Gym); AP Bio (Rm. 201)
Wednesday, Jan. 24:
8 a.m.—Geometry Regents (Music Suite, Rm. 103); U.S. History Regents, Psychology and Civil War (Gym)
12 p.m./noon—Algebra I Regents, Algebra I (Part 1 &2) and Physics (Gym)
Thursday, Jan. 25:
8 a.m.—Global 10 Regents and Gov/Econ (Gym); Calculus/Pre-Calculus (Rm. 307); Spanish I (Rm. 103)
12 p.m./noon—Algebra II/Trigonometry (Rm. 207); Financial Math (Rms. 213 and 307); Food Science (Rm. 208)
Friday, Jan. 26:
8 a.m.—Earth Science Regents, Earth Science and English 10 (Gym); Chemistry Regents and Chemistry (Rm. 201)
12 p.m./noon—Spanish II (Rm. 103); FMCC U.S. History (Rm. 204)
