Seventh grade orientation scheduled Sept. 9

Greetings to our 7th grade students and their families:

We are excited to welcome you to the Fort Plain Junior-Senior High School. Ensuring that our new seventh grade families have a smooth transition to a new building  is a very high priority for us. Your seventh grade teachers have been working extremely hard to prepare both their physical classroom and virtual classrooms for you! They have been working non-stop to make sure everything is ready for your arrival.

Your teachers have planned 7th grade orientation on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Orientation will include opportunities to discuss the upcoming school year, a tour of the building, distribution of Chromebooks, and meeting your teachers. 

To maintain social distancing guidelines we ask that only one parent or guardian accompany their student and that siblings not attend. Please do not send your child alone, since we will need a parent present when assigning Chromebooks. Masks will be required when entering the building. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.

Please see room assignments below. Families will stay in assigned rooms, with the exception of the tour, and teachers will come to you.
